MyFICO.com is the place to get your credit report and score if you plan on getting a loan, renting a new apartment, applying for a mortgage, or buying a new car. This is because 90% of the largest banks and lenders use FICO credit scores when approving applicants for loans, bank accounts, and lines of credit. Once you order your score, you can use the site's credit Score Simulator to see what would happen to your score under different scenarios. This will help you determine what moves would be best for your credit situation. The downside is that the costs can add up quickly. You have three credit reports and scores and each one will cost you $15 to see. To make matters worse, lenders randomly choose which report they will use to consider your application, so you really need to know all three of your scores to get a complete look at your credit standing. CreditReport.com allows you to get access to your credit report and score for 60-days, plus you are signed up for a 30-day free trial in their credit monitoring service. Once this service ends, you will be charged $12.95 per month to continue receiving these benefits. As with all credit monitoring services, you will be notified when changes take place on your report. - Be notified when something on your credit report changes.

Once a member, CreditReport.com also gives you a detailed analysis of what is affecting your score and the resources to learn how improve a poor credit score. Therefore, they are offering more than just credit monitoring and a peek at your credit report – they are offering you knowledge on how to improve your situation. Although they do offer support via email, we'd have liked to see faster response times and maybe even the addition of live phone support. Overall, however, CreditReport.com seems to be a great place for affordable credit monitoring and free access to your credit information. Star Reviews gives them 5.0 Stars!
