We're football fans so it's only natural that our favorite feature was the Fantasy Cast Live Scoring page for ESPN's fantasy football. This page allowed us to instantly track every move our players made. From each and every scoring point all the way down to every yard, this page provided us with up-to-the-minute stats that kept us on top of our game.

Navigating the ESPN Fantasy Sports Website:

Just browsing ESPN’s fantasy football site is enough to get a sports enthusiast excited and rearing to go. However, before you run off and jump in, there are a few things you need to know. The first is timing. If you are not paying attention to the season that your sport of choice plays in, you may miss your window of opportunity to use this site.

Leagues can only be created at a certain time and then the option is closed. Once the leagues are filled with teams, you can no longer join that league with your team and you are pretty much out of luck. Though you'll still be able to navigate the site, you'll do so endlessly without encountering a single sign-up link. Do yourself a favor. Know when leagues open and be there on that day to ensure your place in all the fun.

The ESPN Fantasy Sports Experience:

This site is jam-packed with information and features that are vital to every sports enthusiast, no matter what sport you’re in to. However, we did run into a bit of an inconvenience during our visit. This was due to the fact that we tried to join a fantasy football league after the season had already started. This meant that all of the leagues had been created and were already filled with teams. With this in mind, be sure to get your team registered early on or you may have to wait until next season to get in on the action.

Otherwise, what a great fantasy sports experience. ESPN has high-caliber podcasts, videos and blog to keep the multimedia-driven sports fan content. We loved the live draft lobby, which clearly displayed which teams were in the draft process at a time; allowing members to chat and draft together. There is also a comprehensive player news section, which keeps you up-to-date and in-the-know on all of your favorite team players. ESPN really has a professional, clean site feel.

ESPN Sports Customer Support:

Customer service for ESPN fantasy sports is initially addressed by use of the online form. While this may not be optimal and will probably annoy those who like chat support or phone service, it is indeed better than nothing. It is important to note that our email to customer service was received the very same day that we made our inquiry, so turn-around times shouldn't be too much of an issue unless your patience level is right around 0. The answer we received was efficient too, which we appreciated. If you need instant help, why not utilize one of the many topic links on the Fantasy Sports Message Boards?

When we looked at fantasy sports websites, we knew we had to see what ESPN had to offer. What a great site! Though, we must forewarn you: they're incredibly popular and leagues fill up extremely quick, so monitor when your favorite sport's signups begin and be there on day one for registration! There are tons of great features here, from free expert advice and analysis to a live draft lobby, podcasts, videos and a fully customizable fantasy sports experience. Basic registration is free, but if you'd like to sign one team up, the cost is $29.95. There isn't telephone customer support here, but there is an online form that typically elicits responses the same day (which was the case for us.) If you need it, there are plenty of message boards to take part in with other fans. We give ESPN a thumbs way up!

It's free to play. You only have to pay if you want to win a prize. The prize for winning your league is usually a t-shirt or something of comparable value. I think they give out bigger prizes if your team is in the top three overall on the website.

Actually, ESPN is the ONLY Fantasy sports provider that offers live phone customer and technical support, 7 days a week just about all day and night. When I had a draft issue (rare) last season, I called and got a live rep, who knew his stuff, to help me in about 2 minutes flat. That's service! No one else comes close!

Like many Americans I love fantasy sports. ESPN offers a great fantasy sports selection whether you want to participate in fantasy football, baseball, basketball, gold, ESPN has a fantasy sports selection for you. The only downside is the subscription costs for certain features.
