When we landed on the GreetingCards.com website, we will be honest: we didn't think it'd be a great greeting card website. The site layout was a little elementary and the graphics seemed to be lacking. However, they do offer a bunch of cards for obscure holidays, and you can add music and video to eCards, so we think they're a pretty decent choice. See what else we discovered below!

About Greeting Cards:

Greeting Cards has been helping people send free greeting cards since 2001. Today the site can still be used for free, or visitors can sign up for a paid membership that gives them access to added features.

Surprisingly, users can personalize and send most cards without incurring any costs. Only those designated with the letter P require a membership to send. Compare eCards from other sites to the ones you can get for free at Greeting Cards and you will be amazed. Greeting Cards has thousands of cards to choose from. Plus, you can designate when a card should be sent up to a month in advance.

Those that pay for a membership have the option to send premium cards, change the music used with any given eCard, add voice messages to eCards and keep track of email addresses in an address book.

Greeting Cards does not have the best eCards, but they are similar to those from other websites. They offer cards in several categories, including those hard to find obscure holiday cards. However, the obscure holiday cards are not listed under the holiday category. Users can only find them on the homepage in a section that details all the holidays within the current month.

GreetingCards.com Pricing:

Visitors can sign up to send premium eCards for free during a 10 day trail offer. After that, cost is $11.95 per year or $4.95 per month for premium eCards.

Customer Support
The Help section is not comprehensive and does not address many common questions. For further information, email GreetingCards from their website. They also offer help via mail and fax.

Upside:
Access to printable cards at no additional cost - Cost less then other eCard sites that require a fee - Visitors can provide eCard reviews in the Comment and Suggestion section

Downside:
Must type a message of more than two characters in order to send eCard
Only the popular greeting cards are shown in any given category initially. Visitors must select to see more cards to see the full selection.
