Always use KBB!

I always use Kelly Blue Book when looking for a new car. I can always count on it for a price on any car that I am interested in. I also like the fact that I can see the prices for private seller, car dealer and general price. This has the most accurate prices I get anywhere on the internet. This website also lets you choose the options that the car has and the mileage so you can get the best idea of how much you'll pay for the car. The best part about this website, in my opinion, is that when I'm buying a car I can compare the price that the dealer is asking against what Blue Book says, and know if I am getting a good deal or not!

Useful tool for buyers/sellers
4
Going on Kelly Blue Book is a little confusing if you don't know all of the information on the car you're researching. This is regarding any specific models that go beyond the basic "Chevy Malibu" or whatever model you're looking for. Therefore, I advise that you find out the EXACT specs on the vehicle before looking into the price ranges. The good thing about the site though is that it offers you the option of seeing the condition price for each vehicle and it gives you the ability to include upgrades on your cost in case there are aftermarket items, which most other sites will not give to you as an option. It's a good tool if you're selling your used car, trading in to a dealer, or just searching for a specific make and model. I did find the navigation a bit confusing at times though.
