MetroFax offers a great value-priced website for internet fax service. This website is good for businesses or individuals who send up to 1,000 faxes per month. - Toll-free numbers available at a one-time nominal charge.
- 1000 inbound/outbound pages included with the monthly efax service.
- 3 cents per page additional when over 1000 pages.
The website is easy to use and offers a helpful and informative tutorial for first time eFax users. MetroFax customer service is helpful and knowledgeable but it would be beneficial if MetroFax offered customer service via live chat. We give them 5.0 Stars!

RapidFax is a big player in the eFax service arena and we couldn't pass up an opportunity to check them out! What we found here definitely stumped us. They're a great, simple-to-use service with alot of great features. But, we only found one pricing plan here. If you're a corporation or small business, this probably isn't the best choice for you. - No activation fees, Free toll-free numbers
- Free 30-day trial.
Our team certainly had mixed feelings about RapidFax. While we think they're great for an individual or family, you won't find the service you need if you send a bunch of faxes or rely on faxes for your corporation. There is one online faxing plan here: $9.95 a month including a toll-free fax number, 200 incoming fax pages and 100 outgoing fax pages. No setup fees either. But, if you like a diverse array of plans, go elsewhere. On a positive note, RapidFax has outstanding customer support by way of telephone, email and live chat. Their level of service was definitely high-caliber. They earned 5.0 Stars!

We really liked the simple, yet sleek website interface we ran into on the TrustFax site. They were definitely one of the best eFax services and we have no problem recommending them. The first thing we noticed about their site was the plethora of pricing plans-great choices! You can also try out their service in a free, 30-day trial if you should feel so inclined.
- No set-up or activation fees
- TrustFax Filing Cabinet-save files, movies and music in addition to your efaxes.
Our team liked the many pricing plans and large-volume faxing features available here. If you're a big business or corporation, we think that TrustFax will have a plan that suits you and your company's needs. If you want just a basic Pro plan, it will cost you $9.95 per month for 400 pages received and 125 pages sent. There is unlimited inbox fax storage and 15 MB of file storage. Customer support is available via email which elicited a response for us within one business day. We would have liked to see telephone support, as all they offered was a sales line number. But, their service is pretty good overall, earning them 5.0 Stars!

When we landed on the Send2Fax website, we weren't thoroughly impressed. It was a little cluttered with text and some of the links didn't really apply to the service itself. Send2Fax doesn't require users to download any software in order to utilize their service, since all sending and receiving of faxes can be done right on the Web. - Secure fax storage available
- Toll-free fax numbers available
Our team wasn't enthralled by the Send2Fax eFax service. We have to note: if you do sign up for Send2Fax, make sure your inbound fax settings are set to delete faxes from the online database after 30 days or else you will be charged 1 cent per fax per month. There are three different pricing plans to choose from, the lowest being $11.95 a month for 200 incoming and/or outgoing fax pages. If you go above that number, you will be charged 12 cents per page faxed. Not wonderful. Customer support is only available via online form (which took a few days to respond) and a limited Knowledge Base. All in all, they receive 4.0 Stars!

MaxEmail was an interesting site to look at and we think they're a decent choice in eFax services. Initially, we appreciated their free, 30-day trial and liked that there were a bunch of personal and corporate plans available. When we continued on and really delved into the site, we noticed that finding a local fax number was a bit difficult. For example, we entered our area code and no results were found. So, we entered another and were given a 'local area number' that wasn't even in the same state.... - Voice mail service included with all MaxEmail plans.
- Send and receive faxes via email and Internet.
Star Reviews definitely had a sour experience signing up for our online Faxing account on MaxEmail. After being given a 'local number' in another state, we were assigned a toll-free access number. One problem: you're charged a whopping 10 cents per fax page and/or voice mail received in addition to the regular subscription fees. Upsell, anyone? If you do go with the service, MaxEmail Plus is $9.95 a month with a $10 activation fee, which isn't terrible. But, customer support by email takes about 2 days...and doesn't always elicit relevant responses. The FAQs section was detailed, but a bit cumbersome to navigate. We're sad to say, MaxEmail didn't blow us away. They receive 3.5 Stars!
