The best part of Party Cat’s stationery website is their unique party invitations. For example, a bachelorette invitation is shaped like a bottle of beer and comes with a paper lime which sticks to the invitation with adhesive. Party Cat offers fun features that are perfect for any party.

Party Cat WebSite Interface:

The web site interface is similar to other stationery websites, but it can be confusing. Some categories do not accurately describe their contents. For example, the “Moving” category on the home page led to a selection of card styles for birthday and engagement parties. Other sections do not include any choices at all. Under the “Wedding” category, one of the sub-categories is “Fill-Ins” but nothing is listed in that section.

When choices are available, you have the option of sorting them in four ways: by print type, by vendor, by most to least expensive, and by least to most expensive. The price options are the most useful. After viewing a selection, you also have the option of saving it as a possibility which makes it easier to compare your favorite styles before choosing a winner.

Party Cat Selection:

Party Cat does have a unique selection of invitations, but their selection is limited compared to other stationery service providers. For wedding invitations, Party Cat offers less than 80 choices. That may be more than what you’ll find at a brick and mortar vendor but is less than what you typically will find online. Besides invitations and wedding stationery, you can also purchase place mats, cups, notepads, and enclosure cards. The “Gifts” section of the site is still under construction and no products are available there.

Party Cat Customization Options:

Party Cat does provide a number of customization options. You can choose from over 30 font styles and just under 25 ink colors for your message. You can also add additional design elements, such as motifs and monograms. Plus, you can choose the alignment for each line of your message and the size (small, medium, large, and extra large) of the font. When you’re finished customizing your card, you’ll be able to view a sample of what the finished product will look like. Most of the choices are available with printed messages or as blank cards.

Party Cat Pricing:

Prices vary depending on the style and quantity you choose. Party Cats’ offers their invitations and other stationery items in quantities of 25 to 1,000. Some cards, such as the photo holiday cards, are available at a per card price. Some pricing examples are below:

5 holiday photo cards (no glitter) - $17.25 (you attach your own photos at home with adhesive – adhesive not included)
25 holiday photo cards with glitter ($3 extra per card) - $92.25
25 standard one-sided wedding invitations printed using thermography - $330

Party Cat Customer Support:

Party Cats’ customer service is fair. The site does have a toll free number to use for contacting them, but their hours of operation were not listed on the web site. When Star Reviews called, we did speak with a representative who was helpful and friendly. However, finding the company’s email address and company information was difficult. No “Contact” page was accessible from the home page and this information was not included in the FAQs either. Our email message included a fairly decent response in about 48 hours.

Upside:
Unique and interesting stationery styles. Reasonable prices.

Downside:
Limited style selection. Contact information was difficult to find - Interface needed better organization.

Party Cats Summary:
We really liked Party Cats’ unique stationery collection and affordable pricing. While their selection isn't as large as some of their competition's, we still found some great products here, such as bachelorette party invitations shaped like beer bottles with stick-on limes to seal the envelope. Definitely innovative. We felt that their site could be organized a bit better, as navigating through it wasn't the most simple endeavor we've had to make. But, you can get order proofs through email, mail or by fax, so that is convenient. Telephone customer support is friendly, but finding email contacts was a small challenge. We think you'll enjoy this stationery service, overall!
