We were in the home market this past year and Realtor.com was the best search engine out there! I found hundreds of houses listed on their website that I didn't find in our local MLS listings, or anywhere else on the web. The information was usually very up to date, and each listing includes the contact person or company for the property, so all I had to do was bookmark the page for the house, and I had all the information I needed. You can also search using a map, which really came in handy because we were trying to move to a very specific area within town, and didn't want to waste time filtering through houses in other communities. We found our house through Realtor.com and have been very happy here!

Realtor.com is the best web site in the field I saw so far. I use it myself all the time and I am very happy about it. Thousands and thousands of listing coast to coast – with prices, pictures, comments and sellers info. Advance search options allow you to sort your properties by the type, price range, number of bedrooms, bathrooms as well as by geographical location and the lot size. It also features other useful thins like mortgage calculators, different external links to prime rates and financial institutions.

The only concern is that sometimes there is only one picture of the property in the listing or no picture at all.

After going through a bankruptcy and losing my home due to the poor economy in Ohio, in 2005 I found myself in need of a new home.  Through this website, I found the house that I now live in.  I was able to search by zipcode and price range and thus find all the houses in the desired area that were in my price range.  I then set up appointments with realtors to go view the houses and eventually found the one I now own and love.  I would recommend this website to anyone who is looking for a new home.  Its very detailed in its descriptions of the property, has maps, contact information, pictures, etc.  Great site.
