If you’ve recently had a wedding or know someone who has, it can be a challenge to find the perfect picture host for all of your event images. We ran into a unique photo sharing service called Seeyouthen and decided to see what they were all about. Our first impression of the site wasn’t awe-inspiring, but continue on for what we found.

Seeyouthen prides itself on being the only photo site out there allowing you to create a private environment for your wedding or event photographs. They emphasize their photo sharing service isn’t just for displaying images, but for exchanging them. Everyone has a different perspective and thus, different pictures from your event. This website allows every image taken at your event to be shared and commented on.

Navigating the Seeyouthen website:

We must admit, finding our way around the Seeyouthen website proved to be a small challenge. The site is still fairly new and isn’t as established as other photo sharing services out there. This results in a tough-to-browse user interface. All important links are under tabs like ‘FAQs’ and ‘Event Features,’ but to find information on pricing or the like, we had to dig around until we reached the ‘Members’ page.

How to Use Seeyouthen:

If you decide you want to sign up for Seeyouthen and begin inviting friends and building your website, the setup process is fairly simple. Click on Signup! and fill in the online form, with information like your name, desired user id and password, date of your event, and form of payment. Then, you’ll be asked to choose your website layout functions and add important dates to your page. Lastly, you will have the chance to import any contacts you may have and invite anyone you wish to view and participate in your new website! It’s pretty self explanatory.

SeeYouThen offers three pricing tiers to meet your needs:
6 Months for $49.95
12 Months for $79.95
18 Months for $99.95

Customer Support:
Our team has to admit that customer support is lacking on this site. Although you can find a bunch of FAQs and questions and answers under the ‘Home’ tab, trying to figure out the site was pretty complicated. When we clicked on ‘Contact Us,’ we were taken to an online form, where we sent them a question.

Little did we know we’d receive a response within a matter of hours. One problem: the response we received said ‘I will give you a call tomorrow’ when the online form didn’t give us the option of entering a phone number, and no telephone support was listed on the site! Our question revolved around pricing and our rep didn’t address it in the least bit. We were left more confused than before we started.

Upside:
Innovative site concept. Unlimited photo storage. Customize your own, private event website.

Downside:
Inadequate customer support. High pricing.
