Template Monster’s home page has a lot of information on it, but they arrange it in a way so that it's not overwhelming or confusing. This is definitely a user-friendly website.

The current specials and deals that are available are clearly laid out, as are their featured product offerings. The various styles of templates, such as e-commerce template, CMS and blog templates, corporate design templates, and other styles are displayed in an organized manner at the top of the page. Template Monster also gives you the option of searching all of their products by category, style, template number, price range, or product identification. If you are not sure where to go, there is a convenient site map button at the top of the page. The site is detailed with clearly marked headings, and the links on this page will likely take you where you want to go.

As far as variety, Template Monster offers a wide range of website templates catering to a diverse set of business needs. They have corporate styles, artwork, grunge, collage, minimalist, cartoon, futuristic and much more. Simply do a quick search, and you will be able to find a theme that works for you.

The ordering process for packages and services is also user-friendly. Before buying a template you can actually download a free sample of the template product that interests you. You can also choose the option to customize a specific template by adding an element, or making a few minor changes.

We also really like the fact that Template Monster offers a "unique price" option that you can pay if you do not want Template Monster to resell the template you purchase to any other customer. Just remember, it only works from your purchase on forward. Previous template customers will still be able to use the template if they purchased it prior to you exercising your "unique price" option.

The Stars Review team is happy to say that in addition to the excellent features that this site offers, its customer service was not disappointing. Template Monster has an entire support page dedicated to assisting their customers. On this page you can find Live Support Chat to get immediate answers to your questions, 24 hours a day 7 day a week. There is also an online help center with various articles and recommendations on using their website templates. These articles and tips are typically based on the most popular questions that customers have asked.

Template Monster also offers two different FAQ sections. One for general questions, and the other for licensing questions. Both pages do have an extensive list of answers that customers will likely find useful. They also have pages devoted to the explanation of their terms of use, refund policies, and privacy policies.

And as if that weren't enough, Template Monster also offers free online tutorials and guides to walk you through their products and services along with a “submit a ticket” support option. Phone and email support are also available, and we found both to be timely and helpful. Overall, Template Monster is definitely on the ball when it comes to customer service.

Upside:

Quality templates, great customer service, "wish box" feature to request a template you can't find.

Downside:

We are hard pressed to find a down side. If anything, their site just contains so much needed information about their products, that it does take a fair amount of time to get through it all. Minimizing on some of the links might be worthwhile, but not at the sacrifice of the great products and services they inform you about.

Template Monster has a huge selection of templates to choose from and really has something for everyone. The prices are cheap and the quality is good. They offer templates for all types of sites including WordPress, OSCommerce, ZenCart and others. The sites come with all the source code and files and are relatively easy to customize. If you are looking for a fast, easy and inexpensive way to get a web presence established, this is a great way to go.

I had to build a website for someone but due normal work hours found myself facing time restraints. I stumbled up on Template Monster and searched their extensive database of templates. If found the templates to be very professional and tasteful. I immediately purchased one and in minutes were provided with all the files needed. (.psd. flash, html, etc.) After making a few minor changes and tweaks I had the page built and ready to go live!
