Sharing videos from one home computer to the next used to be something heard of only in science fiction novels. Now, thanks to online video sharing services, this fantasy that has now become a reality. Before you sign up for one of these cutting-edge video sharing services, however, there are some things you need to keep in mind ...
A World Unlike Any Other
Online video sharing has become somewhat of a cultural phenomena. Family video's are making their way to the Web, and according to comparison sites like Star Reviews, services like YouTube and Phanfare have never been more popular.
Watch Yourself
There is a dark side to these sites, however. Put a video of you and your friends going wild on YouTube.com and the world will see it. Mom and dad and maybe even your boss could see it too. Before you post anything to a video sharing site, make sure you understand how private the site is (or is not) and consider whether or not what you are posting is appropriate for general public viewing.
After all, with great power comes great responsibility. Video sharing websites are powerful, but you need to use them wisely.
