I am going to step out a limb here and tell you that Dwight Howard is going to be too much for the Lakers to handle in the NBA Finals. I keep hearing that with Pao Gasol and Andrew Bynum in the middle, that will take away the easy baskets for Dwight Howard. It was just two weeks ago that Patrick Ewing (my favorite center) said that he had never seen such banging under the basket in his career. What does anyone think that Gasol and Bynum are going to do to Howard that the Caveliers didn't already try. Gasol isn’t known for his physicality and Bynum is known to disappear for large parts of the basketball game. Howard is on fire right now and he is too young to realize that the NBA can be fickle and while this could be the start of a long run of NBA Finals for him ... it could also be his last. Patrick Ewing certainly didn't think 1994 would be the last NBA Finals he "played" in. Dwight Howard is going to bring his A+ game to this series and he is going to be the deciding factor.

Wait, what about Kobe? What about him? He is the best player in the league but he was the best player in the league on game 1 of the season, he was the best player at the All-Star break and he is still the best player. Orlando knows that, the Lakers know that, I think Lebron knows that and that has already been factored in to the series. Kobe is going to have a great series and I am sure that once or twice he is going to drop 50+ on the Magic but he still has to win 4 games and I don’t think he can do it.
I read now how the Magic got lucky not having to face Elton Brand, Kevin Garnett in the playoffs and that Lebron didn’t have a great team around him. The Caveliers won 66 games and were favored from the All Star break on to go to the NBA Finals. Now that they were upset, they are flawed. They ran into a great player who was
el feugo. Nothing you can do about that and unfortunately for the Lakers, they are running into the same great player, with nothing to lose and now a team that believes in him and themselves.
Dwight Howard is going to put the Orlando Magic on his shoulders and carry them to the NBA Championship. Orlando in 6!
Sorry Kobe … I know you want to win one without Shaq but it isn’t going to be this year.
