Comedies are great, they make us laugh and do what movies were made to do, take our minds away from reality and provide some much needed escapism for a short period of time. Buddy comedy movies are films that involve two friends going through the experience of the film’s journey together. They are usually either best friends, complete opposites or enemies that later become friends or co-workers who must work together to complete the task at hand. There have been numerous great buddy comedy movies through the years but these are the best of the best.
Some Like It Hot
In this comedy movie, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon star as two musicians who dress up as women and pretend to be part of an all female group. The antics, both physical and dialogue driven, are so funny you’ll be ready to pee your pants. It’s the perfect comedy for two friends to watch and laugh about what they would have done in the same situation. A good classic laugh.
Lethal Weapon Series
Not a straight comedy movie because there’s a ton of action and some drama as well but these two cops handle most everything with a sense of wit and stick by one another no matter what, true friends. The Lethal Weapon series of comedy movies is sure to satisfy both your sense of action as well as your funny bone.
Rush Hour Series
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are nothing alike, in fact they don’t even speak the same language most of the time, a disaster waiting to happen? Nah, some laugh out loud comedy instead. Their opposition makes for great scenes where you root for both and laugh at both at the same time. As far as comedies go, this one will have you laughing out loud!
