Yuck!!!

Maybe it is the type of music I like or maybe it is their selection but there was very little for me to pick from. I had signed up for EMUSICS free trial period and was eagerly began browsing the site. I prefer rock, metal, etc and there sure was a terrible selection. I downloaded quite a few songs and when I played them I found that they were funky tribute bands and not the original artist that I actually wanted. However they looked to have a much bigger country selection.
I will say the site was very easy to use and navigate but like I previously wrote the choice of rock just wasn't up to par with services like Amazonmp3 and Itunes.

A great service for discerning listeners

I first tried eMusic when I got a free trial, years ago, and ever since then I have been hooked. All of their music is in mp3 format, so no worrying about how many computers you can have your music on, or whether or not it will work on your portable media player. If you buy a song on eMusic, it’s yours. Their subscription model is a lot cheaper per-song than sites that offer songs for $0.99. 40 songs a month might not seem like a lot at first, but it adds up fast – and soon you have an impressive music collection. The only problem some people seem to have is the lack of big ‘top 40’ artists – but as someone who’s not a big fan of a lot of the music they play on the radio, who likes to find unique new artists with interesting sounds, eMusic is perfect for me. I definitely recommend it to anyone who’s on the fence about this wonderful service.
